PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
MEX Q10 + TRIPLE OMEGA 3 has been developed as a limited edition product, an addition to another bestselling formula, MEX TRIPLE OMEGA 3, in order to satisfy a growing demand for coenzyme Q10. Since both ingredients do a great job for the cardiovascular system, we decided that such a combination would be unique on the market. These two ingredients have been researched in connection with cancer prevention and proven to help in the case of prostate cancer in men and breast cancer in women.
What makes this product so unique? Science suggests that the most optimal EPA/DHA ratio is 2:1 and the most optimal daily intake of Omega 3 is 1500 mg, i.e. 1000 mg of EPA and 500 mg of DHA. Many manufacturers are trying to provide fish oil concentration at the level of 500 or 1000 mg, but fail to provide the required values of EPA and DHA, commonly using the 180/120 ratio, sometimes 330/220, in the latter case claiming to have used “high dosages”, but still insufficient to keep up with the best. The same problem concerns CoQ10 – this ingredient is often served in 10-mg dosages, mainly for marketing purposes.
Most studies clearly suggest that such benefits as improved brain and heart function, bone and joint health, fat loss, increased testosterone level, improved sperm quality in men and egg quality in women (antioxidant properties), improved recovery, decreased fatigue (as a counter-measure to mitochondrial dysfunctions) and all the “muscle health” advantages, which are so important for athletic performance, are only achievable through the provision of a high dose of fatty acids – a minimum of 1500 mg of Omega 3 per day (1000 EPA and 500 DHA) – and CoQ10 doses ranging between 90 mg and 200 mg per day. The notions of “general health” and “wellness assistance” refer, among others, to the reduction of metabolic syndrome symptoms (obesity, high blood pressure, insulin resistance, as well as high triglyceride and low “good” HDL cholesterol levels) and help in the prevention of autoimmune diseases (including type 1 diabetes, autoimmune diabetes, multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and psoriasis).
