PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
MEX Nutrition approaches every product not only from the scientific angle, but also having optimal results in mind. Many Omega 3 products, referred to by their designers as “nutritional masterpieces”, promise amazing, fantastic or even unrealistic results that no other product is able to provide. Some manufacturers claim that their products offer more EPA or DHA per serving than those of any others. However, over 90% of such products fall short of the effective value they claim to provide.
Manufacturers argue whether it is EPA or DHA that is more valuable. They keep changing their proportions to prove their claims. Nevertheless, most of them miss the fact that the key nutritional factor is their daily intake of 1500 mg. We have been able to condense this amount into just two sofgels, while the average product requires a handful of capsules to meet the same goal. This also means that MEX TRIPLE OMEGA 3 cuts down on the overall intake of fat and cholesterol.
We have decided that within the 75% content of these two important fatty acids, the 2:1 EPA/DHA ratio should be used, since there are more studies confirming EPA's superiority. This is similar to the superior value of leucine among the BCAA.
The key argument for Omega 3 supplementation is that EPA and DHA are essential fatty acids, components of living cells, that are not produced by the human body, while, in the case of an average person, their intake with natural food does not even come close to their recommended daily value.
Most studies clearly suggest that besides an improved brain and heart function, such benefits as fat loss, increased testosterone level, joint support, improved recovery and all the “muscle health” benefits, which are so important for athletic performance, are only achievable through providing a high dose of those fatty acids – a minimum of 1500 mg per day.
